[Around five p.m, Felicity will get a delivery - a flat. white clothing box, wrapped in red ribbon. Inside will be white tissue paper, along with a single red rose resting atop a dress. Beneath it will be a note, written in Ezio's handwriting:]
Please wear this for me tonight. I will see you soon, bella
[At 8:01 exactly, Felicity steps into the lobby wearing the dress Ezio had sent her. She'd thought about not wearing it in an attempt to remind him that she's not there to do everything he tells her to, but she'd followed that thought process with a reminder that they're starting new with an agreement that appears to be far more fair. Something she can live with and, according to what he's said, what they'd signed into existence in the caves, something he can live with, too. In that moment, she'd decided to do far more than wear his dress.
Around her throat is the necklace he'd given her, and she's left her hair down for their meeting, too. Contacts instead of glasses and heels that accentuate not only her legs, but the tight backside that he loves so much.
The single minute she's late, she figures, is defiance enough. This look, she figures, is worth those sixty seconds.]
[It hurts her heart that the first thing that she thinks of is that he's trying too hard with the compliments because of course he has to be lying. The man's from Italy, from ages ago, and he's seen things she'll never see. Had sex with women numbering, likely, in the hundreds. She doesn't say it and is ashamed that her mind goes there first. It's not what she wants from this and loathes that she feels that way.
They're working past it, shouldn't she feel better now?
There's a slight falter in her step as it all runs through her mind and, as she forces the negative out, she takes a breath and realizes that he is gorgeous. He's there, for her, because he loves her. He wants this as much as she does, and yes. They're working past it. It's that reminder that puts a soft blush on her cheeks as she stops two feet in front of him.]
Thank you. [She takes him in again, this time with a softer gaze, not trying to hide how she feels about how he looks.] You look amazing.
[So he was. So he had seen the beauty of Rome, of Florence, of Venice. Had seen and owned paintings by artist that were now so famous they were known by name alone. Had slept with women who were considered the most beautiful of their time.
All of it was true.
But none of them held a candle to her. Not when she was standing there before him, bathed in soft life, wearing the dress that he had bought her in his colors. Not when her hair cascaded down over her shoulders and her eyes were bare, free of the glasses she normally wore. There was something softer about her, something ethereal and beautiful beyond all else.
How much he loved her likely blinded him, at least a little, but he honestly didn't care.
Reaching for her hand, he lifts it slowly, pressing his lips to the back before intertwining their fingers.]
[Every single time he touches her, Felicity feels her heart skip several beats. It feels like it's been so long, though it's been less than twenty-four hours, and his lips are warm and inviting against her skin. Her breath catches and her stomach clenches as her love spikes hard. It's intense, every emotion he draws out of her, but she doesn't regret any of it.
Felicity squeezes his fingers lightly as she nods.]
You haven't said where we're going. [Glancing down at her dress, she pulls on the skirt just a little as she swings her hips slightly.] Somewhere nice?
[There were times when he touched her simply to see the response it garnered, simply to see how her face would morph and light up, change into that of happiness despite whatever emotion she had been wearing before. Feeling her skin against his own is almost magical, like a bolt of lightning shooting along his spine and straight into his heart.
If there had ever been any doubt that he loved her, it was always erased the moment he touched her.]
You will see soon enough. [Using their intertwined fingers, he spun her slowly before him, completing one turn and end on a half, so that her back was towards him. The soft sound of fabric against fabric could be heard before black silk was being lifted over her eyes.]
Felicity trusts him beyond all things, so she's not startled, exactly, when the black silk covers her eyes. They've done far more risque things in bed (and in public), but she feels her breath catch and her heart start to pound in anticipation for what it is he has planned. Her fingers come up to tease at the edges of the fabric, just to see how tight he's going to make it, then they drop back down to her side.
Her other hand reaches for his again, finding nothing but air and she says his name quietly.]
[Arms slowly wrap around her from behind, encircling her waist and drawing her in, until his lips can press against the warmth of her neck. Until his hands can slide down and take one of hers, moving away and beginning to lead her back in the direction of the elevators.]
[she knew he wasn't going to leave her standing there in the middle of the lobby, dressed as she was with a silk blindfold on for whoever might pass by, but it was comforting to wrapped in his arms and feel his kiss against her neck. it brought a tender smile to her face and, as he pulled back, she may have given a soft, involuntary sound of objection.
letting him lead her to the elevators, she takes confident steps though she can't see. she honestly doubts that he's leading her into danger.]

It would have been ten, if only to absolutely ensure that he arrived before her but he had decided against it at last moment.
His attention turns away from the large glass windows at the sound of the soft ding, honey brown eyes instantly taking her in.
She was so incredibly beautiful and he was so incredibly lucky.
And also extremely thankful he had chosen to wear a suit.]
Of all the things I have seen, you are the most beautiful.

I could have met you upstairs.
[there's amusement in her tone.]
